recently, i have been having some trouble with my server in terms of memory capacity. running multiple virtual machines takes up quite a bit of memory. the next big project i am working on is converting my virtual machines to windows server 2008. due to the resource requirements of server 2008, i needed to allocate more memory to the virtual machines. unfortunately my trusty ncch-dl has a maximum of 4 GB. the only real way to get around the problem was to buy a new server. i've tried to see what all it could really do, so now it hosts a number of services such as certificate server, domain controller, dhcp server, dns server, email server, file server, web server, and vmware server host.
